The CCNP certification, located at the second layer of the Cisco certification program pyramid, validates that certification holders have a wide range of network knowledge. They can install, configure and operate LAN, WAN and dial access service with 100 to 500 or more nodes. To obtain the CCNP certification, you must:
1. Have the CCNA certification
2. Pass the CCNP exams.

As a combination of 642-901 BSCI and 642-812 BCMSN, 642-892 Composite is more difficult than either of them but cheaper than the total cost of the two exams. 642-892 is a good option for well-prepared candidates.
